What personal data do I collect?

If you sign up to  my newsletter or blog I will receive your email address and name.

Why do I collect this information?

I will use your information to send you emails containing updates, exclusive information and giveaways.

I require this information to send you the email.

What do I do with your information?

I use GoDaddy to manage my email subscriber list  and to send emails to my subscribers. Go Daddy is a third-party provider, which may process your data using industry standard technologies to help me monitor and improve my newsletter.

You can unsubscribe from my newsletter and blog by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided at the end of each newsletter.

How long do I keep your information for?

I will keep your information for as long as you wish to remain a member of the readers club. Your personal information will then be deleted if you wish to be removed from the list.

Your rights over your information

By law, you can ask me what information I hold about you, and you can ask me to correct it if it is inaccurate. All fields are self-filled when you join the list, so the information I hold is information you completed.

You can also ask me to give you a copy of the information and to stop using your information for a period of time if you believe I am not doing so lawfully.

Individuals’ rights

On request, I will delete data.

If someone asked to see their data, I would take a screenshot of their entry/entries.

If you unsubscribe yourself from the list via the email unsubscribe button the data is automatically deleted.

Subject access requests

I aim to respond to all requests within 72 hours or as soon as practicable.

I have appointed myself as the Data Protection Officer.

My lead data protection supervisory authority is the UK’s ICO.
